What's On My Desk?

When I refer to my ‘studio’, you’re probably imagining some cool insulated outhouse or cosy study lined with books. Alas, no. Dave and I are very lucky to actually own a house these days, which seems an ever-lessening likelihood for our children. But our house is only a two-bedroom bungalow, and although it gives us everything we need, the reality is that it is now home to two adults, (almost) two children, two dogs and two chickens. Needless to say, it can be a bit of a squeeze, which is why the ‘studio’ I so lovingly refer to is no longer the spare room (oh, what a luxurious memory!) but a sunlit desk in the corner of our living room. This is my tiny sanctuary of productivity and creativity (although it’s also where Olive watches Paw Patrol, scattering toast crumbs hither and thither without a care), and it is here that I write books, paint pictures, answer emails and plan my schedule. So to share a little more about my current projects, I thought I’d give a sneak peek at what’s on my desk today!
