The Bridleway Art - Three

This month, I’m sharing the artwork from the third chapter of my upcoming book The Bridleway: How Horses Shaped the British Landscape, due out in June 2023 with Bloomsbury. It’s a social and natural history of our relationship with horses, from the evolution of the Equidae family and our attempts to domesticate them, through to the present day and the role they now play in recreation, rewilding and conservation.
