I can’t believe how excited I am to be growing things again. We once had an allotment for a year but it was too big so we gave it back, and since then I haven’t really grown anything from seed - only plonked potted lavenders into every spare inch of soil in the garden. I’m a really bad gardener. I haven’t the patience to respect all the plants’ individuality so everything either gets overwatered, underwatered, overpruned or undernourished. And don’t even get me started on house plants. IKEA-grade dragon trees are the limit of my ability and the two we have are gasping for life; Dave calls them my poor unfortunate souls.
