I studied Art up to GCSE and A Level standard and loved (almost) every minute of it. I’ve kept most of the pieces and sketchbooks I produced through my school years, so I thought it might be fun to delve into them and see what treats are lurking.
I remember GCSE Art being particularly enjoyable, because our teachers were super relaxed and let us listen to music and eat sweets, which wasn’t the done thing at my school. It was also the heyday of decorating one’s sketchbook in finest teenager fashion, which basically meant cutting out images from Cosmo Girl and sticking them onto the front cover. What a time to be alive.
