Recipe: Spiced Elderberry Buns
This is a recipe from my first book Food You Can Forage, which was published all the way back in 2018! I am a big fan of elderberries - they have a lovely rich flavour and are perfect for using in any recipes in which you might use blackberries. These sweet, sticky buns are a delicious early autumn treat, but you can also make elderberry jam if you want to preserve the flavour through the winter months, or freeze a few berries and sprinkle them over porridge.
