Illustrating 'Wilder' by Millie Kerr

I recently created the chapter illustrations for Wilder, a brilliant new book written by Millie Kerr and published by Bloomsbury in August. Drawing on the popular and fascinating topic of rewilding, Millie has written about global rewilding projects taking shape around the world, and how they are not only preserving the wild spaces that remain, but are even restoring entire ecosystems. It was a wonderful book to be involved in, so I thought I’d share three of the twelve illustrations I produced, and talk through the process of designing them. These were full-page, black-and-white illustrations drawn on my iPad Pro with Procreate.
