How I Made: The Cottage Life

Last week I announced the release of my latest book The Cottage Life, published by the lovely chaps at Quarto. I’d kept it pretty quiet until then, partly because of newborn life and general busy-ness, and partly because I’ve been promoting The Bridleway and didn’t want to clog up the airways with too much stuff. So I thought I’d announce this new book as a little surprise, after which it received a very warm welcome into the world - so thank you! I know several you have ordered it and started reading it already which is so nice. This week, I thought I’d share a little more about the book itself, as well as giving you a glimpse into the behind-the-scenes of how a book like this came into existence, from the initial emails to the final hardback being pressed and printed.
