'Next to Nature' by Ronald Blythe. Monthly notes by a man who spent his lifetime of 100 years in the English countryside, praising it and saying thank you by being deeply involved in the local Church.
All good wishes for this ol' year of two thousand and twenty four years... plus!
Yaas! Great to see you back again, and glad you got some lovely family time over Yuletide! 😊. Hope you have a lovely birthday and that you too are blessed with a cake topped by a mahoosive sugar bunny or hare or badger! 😄 🐰. I have been thinking about rising at 4.30 so that can get a half hour of writing done before work, as am too pushed for time when I get up at 5.00. . . But I just never seen to get to bed early enough at the other end! Looking forward to seeing your stationery! 💚x
Happy New Year, Happy Birthday and Welcome Back! What you say certainly resonates... perhaps it's the 'wintering' instinct (I'm sure you recommended Katherine May's book at some point?) or the effects of the weird season that is now Christmas/New Year... enjoy the 5AM club! I followed the Miracle Morning (Hal Elrod) a while ago and it certainly helped get me through a creative block. Wishing you health and happiness for 2024...
