Experimenting with Woodcuts

I’ve just reshared an old post from October 2019 all about my experience learning to carve woodcuts in London. It was an awesome day and I loved the process, so I wanted to share it here again as I’ve just started revisiting woodcut printing! After I learnt the basics of woodcuts, the pandemic hit and I was pregnant and then had Olive and Ash, and between finishing other projects and writing new books, I’ve never managed to sink my teeth into woodcuts again, even though I really enjoyed the process. So this year I’m determined to get back into it, and I’ve also bought some lino sheets to try a few linoprints, too.
