Adventures in Cheesemaking
I’m sharing another post from the archives today as I’m still waiting for baby to arrive and we’re in total limbo! It also seemed the perfect time of year to share this piece (which was also published on the Countryfile blog at the time) because the springtide festival of Imbolc is coming up at the end of the month. Traditionally, Imbolc was a time to feast on dairy products like cheese and milk, and when I worked at Butser Ancient Farm before going freelance, I helped look after and milk the goats - so it was the perfect opportunity to have a go at cheesemaking!
