A Mabon Celebration Guide
Welcome to the final instalment of my collaboration with Dawn Nelson - a storyteller, author and friend who specialises in connecting people with nature, history and the landscape that surrounds them. Dawn has been putting together these celebration guides for each of the sabbats (festivals) in the Celtic Wheel of the Year, before sharing them with her Substack audience, where she also writes about Celtic, British and Scandinavian mythology, the lessons these stories can teach us, and how they represent the natural world and our connection with it. She also records a brilliant podcast on the same themes. Last year, she asked if I’d like to collaborate on these celebration guides, and Mabon is the eighth one we’ve worked on together! These are perfect for enjoying digitally or printed, and can be placed around the house or on your own seasonal altar for daily inspiration.
Dawn researched and wrote all the useful information and ideas, and I provided the illustrations. They’ve been so enjoyable to create and we’ve loved releasing these throughout the year to help you celebrate each of the sabbats.
