Whenever I smell cut grass on a warm day I am transported back to primary school. More specifically, sitting cross-legged on the edge of the playing field on sports day; flicking red ants off our ankles, sipping squash from single-use cups, making daisy chains and wearing sun-hats in our house colours (blue house, if you’re asking).
